This works for both the high and low setting. There are graduated clicks every 7.5 degrees. The angle of the stem can also be easily adjusted by loosening the bolt and then moving the stem up or down. There are 2 mounting holes on the fork that the stem can be mounted in. The high or low refers to where the stem is position. This bike can either run 110 bcd chainring or a 130bcd chainring.

To change the crank length, all that needs to be done is remove the pedal and then reposition so the tic mark on the pedal so that it aligns with the corresponding number (170, 172.5 or 175 ) on the crank arm.

To install the elastometers, all that needs to be done is remove the seat post, unscrew a bolt and slide the elastometers off and slide the new ones on. Each set of elastometers will give the bike a different "feel" either soft, medium or stiff. The bike has 3 sets of elastometers for the seat post. I've gotten a few messages with questions about the bike and figured I should explain some of the features in more detail.

The saddle wing & Garmin accessories are NOT included.įeel free to message me with any other questions. The elastometers for the seat post, Zipp collet tool, Look cutting guide, and other accessories that came with the bike will be included in the sale. The stem can also be mounted in 2 positions, either high or low. The Zed cranks & pedals allow you to set the crank length from 170mm, 172.5 & 175mm. With the supplied spacers, the seat can be raised about another 2 - 2.5cm. The seat mast has been cut and the distance from the bottom bracket to the top of the seat mast is 57.15 cm (22.5 inches ). The frame size is an XS (I typically ride a 51cm ). I need to sell this quick but will not accept any low ball offers. I just found out this week that I will be deploying overseas so rather than let this sit, I figured someone else could enjoy it. This is a 2009 596 that I bought from R&A in April of 2010.

This permits an indexed adjustment from two different points of reference for height adjustment (top and bottom). The stem is composed of two carbon arms retained by an aluminum collar. This fork however remains one of the narrowest profiles as it does not require the use of a conventional steerer tube design. LOOK's offset aero fork design was one of the first of its kind and remains one of the most mimic'd front fork designs in the industry. The integrated indexed stem creates a ultra-stiff cockpit. When you look at the frame head-on, the frame almost visually disappears behind the fork. It is extremely important that all frame components are studied as a unit when aerodynamic testing is done. The offset aero LOOK fork was the object of the same aero research that was carried out on the frames. This is accomplished by the reversible saddle cradle which can be oriented 360º. The R32 adjustable E-POST offers +/- 32mm fore-aft adjustment relative to the seat tube axis.
